Sony Xperia C3 is rumored to be the first MediaTek smartphone from the Japanese company. It is expected to launch in China in the late 2013. C3 will be equipped with a quad-core MT6589 processor (based on the Cortex A7 core design) or the newer MT6589T at 1.5 GHz. This processor is known more for its low power consumption than its processing power. It’s also rumored that it will feature a 5inch display, hopefully with Mobile Bravia Engine.
The new C3 is expected to be a low priced phone of Xperia family, so the company is trying to keep the price at low levels about $500. As you can see above, it will have many similarities the current flagship Xperia Z. The phone will be launched firstly only in China, where the budget phones have more sales, but we are expecting to see it on the Western countries later.
