Xperia Z Has Been Rooted!

Sony Xperia Z is now available in over 60 countries and people at XDA have already achieved to root the device.
The process requires many steps and works with the Android 4.1.2 firmware 10.1.A.1.350, models Xperia Z C6602 and C6603. Unfortunately the man behind the root achievement, doesn’t offer, until now, a recovery tool, in case something goes wrong.

For those who have the time and the mood to “hurt” one of the best Android smartphones and install whatever they want as they want it, Sony has already released the source code of the Kernel Xperia Z, which perhaps played a role in the rapid achievement of the root.

  • We do not encourage you to root your device. Unless you know the risks of unlocking a bootloader DO NOT TRY THIS!
  • By rooting your device, you may void the guaranty and you may cause your device a SERIOUS DAMAGE!
